'GOOD MORNING ROCKVILLE'

Steve Silverman to be Featured Speaker at 'Good Morning Rockville' on July 7

Register now for the next 'Good Morning Rockville' which will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 7:30 AM at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Rockville Washington DC, located at 3 Research Court. Mr. Silverman is the recently appointed director of the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development. Interact with fellow business leaders, have breakfast, take advantage of the opportunity to give a 30 second commercial for your business and hear about Steve's vision for economic development in the County. $15 for members. $20 for non-members

This event will start promptly at 7:30 AM with Mr. Silverman presenting prior to breakfast and networking.

Tuesday, July 14th, 6:00 to 8:30 PM. The Rockville Chamber of Commerce is a cosponsor of the All-American Patio Picnic at the Original Pancake House in Bethesda.

Thursday, July 30. The Rockville Chamber of Commerce will do a community service project at Manna Food Center.

JOINT 'MIX AND MINGLE'

Please join the Rockville and Gaithersburg/Germanton Chambers for a poolside barbeque at The Apartments at Miramont, 6040 California Circle, Rockville on Thursday, July 16 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

‘BUY ROCKVILLE’ CAMPAIGN

The Coalition to Preserve Rockville Neighborhood Businesses is asking property owners/landlords, retail and service businesses and individuals to do their part and become sponsors of the ‘Buy Rockville’ Campaign. The campaign is a series of organized marketing strategies geared toward driving customer traffic into Rockville businesses. The campaign is important to all Rockville businesses and a great way to ‘leverage' marketing dollars and get people to buy locally.

For a small investment of your marketing dollars, participating businesses will benefit from the full ‘buy local' campaign budgeted at $56,000. The success of the effort is dependent on the financial and volunteer support of Rockville businesses.
